The purpose of the course is
to provide the participant with the principles of Cellular Networks. The course
starts with a brief description on cellular technologies and networks,
continuous with the cellular network structure, the network components and their
roles. The course starts from short brief of 1st and 2nd
generation networks, including GSM, CDMA and GPRS, and through 3rd
generation networks, that is UMTS and HSPA technologies, to 4th
generation LTE and LTE-Advanced.
